BoltPort is a manufacturer of Inconel 601 Fasteners for bolting applications for projects associated with aerospace engineering, power generation and nuclear. These inconel alloy 601 fasteners can be made in all types of bolts, screws, studs, stud bolts, nuts, washers, dowel pins and other standardized and customized bolting components. Inconel 601 fasteners are either hot forged or machined from inconel 601 bar stock. We offer both metric inconel 601 fasteners with ISO Metric threads and imperial fasteners with Unified national thread types such as UN, UNC, UNF, UNEF, etc.
Inconel 600 is commonly used in forms of hex bolts, heavy hex bolts, full threaded stud bolts, double end studs, socket head cap screws, set screws, hex, heavy hex nuts, square nuts, plain and spring lock washers, etc.
About Inconel® 601
Inconel 601 is a high nickel based alloy developed for applications that requires resistance to heat and corrosion. This nickel alloy belongs to nickel-chromium-iron alloy family with resistance to high temperature oxidation. It can remain resistant oxidation throgh 2200°F. Alloy 601 develops a tightly adherent oxide scale which resists spalling even under conditions of severe thermal cycling. This nickel alloy has good high temperature strength, and retains its ductility after long service exposure. Alloy 601 has a face-centered-cubic atomic structure giving it a high degree of metallurgical stability. The alloy's nickel base, in conjunction with a substantial chromium content, provides resistance to many corrosive media and high-temperature environments. Inconel 601 has high mechanical strength, good resistance to aqueous corrosion, and is readily formed and machined. However, alloy 601 is not suggested for use in strongly reducing, sulfur bearing environments.
