About Inconel® 625

Inconel 625 is a high nickel based alloy belonging to nickel-iron-chromium alloy family equipped with corrosion and oxidation resistance. alloy 625 has high strength and notable aqueous corrosion resistance. This nickel alloy 625 owes its outstanding strength and toughness to niobium which reacts with molybdenum to strengthen inconel 625's atomic structure. Inconel 625 has excellent fatigue strength and resistance to stress corrosion cracking caused by chloride ions. Moreover alloy 625 resists a wide range of severe corrosive environments along with sheer resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. Inconel 625 is a broad spectrum alloy with extensive applications for bolting components, instruments and equipments used in chemical processing, marine and offshore, nuclear power generation and aerospace engineering.
