Monel Alloy Fasteners exhibit superior resistance to sea water corrosion, owing to their distinct nickel copper composition. Monel alloy fasteners are manufactured in all forms of bolts, screws, stud bolts, studs, threaded rods, nuts, washers, dowel pins & custom fastening parts, produced in 3 grades of ni-cu-alloy 400, R405 & K500. Monel fasteners are usually supplied in heavy profile and most abunduntly used configuration is heavy hex bolts to ASME B18.2.1 with ASME B18.2.2 heavy hex nuts with plain flat washers.
Monel is a small family of nickel-copper alloy, developed with superior resistance to sea-water corrosion. Monel alloys are categorized into 3 main grades; 400, R405 & K500, each having a slight distinguished characteristics. Monel 400 is the prime grade among others and is widely used alloy in monel family. Monel fasteners are produced with reference to ASTM B127, B164, B564 , B865, F467 & F468 specifications.
