Thread Cutting Screws

Thread cutting screws are a kind of self tapping screw used to form cut threads in a object typically wood, sheet metal, plastic or fiber glass. As opposed to thread forming screws, these cutting screws create less stress while forming threads as it removes the material from the object while driving the notch of the screw.
