Thread Forming Screws

Unlike thread cutting screws, thread forming screws do not cut through the object rather forms by merely driving through it. It does not remove any material from the object and thus experiences stress while driving through. Thread forming screws have trilobular shaped end to facilitate its primary function.

BoltPort manufactures and supplied thread forming screws in zinc plated steel and 18-8 stainless steel (304).
