ASTM A449 Hex Cap Screws, Bolts & Stud Bolts

ASTM A449 - Standard Specification for Quenched and Temperature Steel Bolts and Studs

This specification covers chemical and mechanical requirements for two types of quenched and tempered steel bolts and studs, intended for use in general application with high strength requirement. ASTM A449 specification includes type 1 medium carbon steel bolts and studs manufactured in diameter 1/4 inch to 3 inch for imperial connections and from M6 to M76 for metric connections; Whereas A449 type 2 is low carbon martensite steel bolts and studs manufactured in diameter 1/4 inch to 1 inch for imperial connections and M6 to M24 for metric connections. Ferrobend manufactures and supplies ASTM A449 Type 1 & Type 2 Bolts, Studs, etc with fine precision, superior integrity along with EN 10204 Type 3.1 Certification.
