Stainless Steel AISI 904L Fasteners

Boltport carries a inventory of Stainless Steel (SS) 904L Fasteners including stud bolts, hex head bolts, socket head cap screws, hex nuts & flat washers. We started our product line with 904L stainless steel fasteners for supply to phosphate processing environment. 904L fasteners can withstand strong reducing agents like phosphorus and sulphurous acid, used in chemical industries. 904L Fasteners are manufactured by hot forging for moderate to large scale production. Small quantities in 904L can be produced economically from bar stock. All products are duly tested and supplied with 3.1 certificates. Commonly used spec for producing 904L fasteners is astm a182, asme sb182 f904L. Custom fasteners can be made to requirement upon request and subject to available sufficient delivery window.

SS 904L, often categorised under super austenitic stainless steel, is a low carbon high alloyed stainless steel with superior resistance to reducing agents used in chemical processing systems. Specifically 904L is resistance to phosphorus and sulphurous acid esters, making it an ideal choice in environment producing and transporting phosphoric and sulphuric acids. Apart from chemical plants, this 904l alloy are used in pharmaceuticals, oil & gas platforms.
