Tantalum fasteners have high strength and can resist elevated temperatures due to tantalum's high melting point. We produce tantalum fasteners in all varieties of bolts, screws, stud bolts, threaded rods, nuts & washers to all tantalum grades UNS R05200, R05252, R05255 & R05400.
Tantalum is a grey blue metal with high melting point with complete inertness to chemical attacks below 150 deg celcius. It is highly resistant to corrosion resistance with primary applications in electrical and high temperature equipments. Tantalum is also added to other alloys to elevate their mechanical properties.
