Socket Head Bolts

Socket Head Bolts

Socket Head Bolts are round cylindrical headed bolt fasteners with hexagon hole or hex socket punched into the head of the bolt along and externally threaded body. Allen keys or hexagon keys are used for torqing socket head allen bolts. These bolts come with plain head or knurled head for thumb grip. Hexagon socket head and socket head allen bolts are aliases of socket head bolts. Socket head bolts are manufactured in high tensile, stainless steel, duplex steel and astm specifications. Socket head bolt dimensions are defined in both metric and imperials sizes with unified national coarse pitch (UNC), fine pitch (UNF), fixed pitch (UN) and iso metric thread profile. ASTM A574 is a dedicated material specification for socket head allen bolts.
